About the Director

She has taught at several massage schools in the area, and specializes in anatomy, business, and advanced massage classes. She now enjoys the satisfaction of working in a setting where she can guide a small group of students from their first day of class right through to graduation.
In 1996, Ryan founded the Amesbury Center for Healing, a holistic center in Amesbury, Massachusetts offering massage, reiki, and hypnotherapy. Opening her own school has given her the chance to realize her goals of expanding her teaching endeavors, developing a comprehensive curriculum, and choosing outstanding instructors to create a well-balanced, small-school environment.
Ryan earned her BA in Social Work and Counseling from Franklin Pierce College and a Master of Arts in Independent Studies from Lesley University. She has over 1,300 hours of massage training, is certified by the NCBTMB, and is licensed as a massage therapist in the state of New Hampshire and the town of Amesbury, Massachusetts.

In addition, Diana maintains a practice at the Amesbury Center for Healing. With over 1,000 hours of training, Diana combines the techniques of Kriya massage, Reiki, acupressure, myofascial, and craniosacral work to facilitate personal healing. Diana specializes in working with chronic pain and injuries as well as with the disabled and the terminally ill.
Lynne Davis enjoys her work at Solidago as a basic massage instructor and teaching assistant. She joined the Amesbury Center for Healing in September 2001 after graduating from the Muscular Therapy Institute in Cambridge, MA. She offers clients a combination of therapeutic and relaxation massage depending on their needs.
